Do you sleep? The YaDa Chef team did not get any over the weekend.
We provided foods for Starworks Motorsport, http://www.starworksmotorsport.com/, for the Rolex 24 race held at the Daytona Speedway in Daytona, Florida. The Rolex 24 race is a non-stop, 24 hour high speed race with alternating drivers.
Meals services began at 12noon on Saturday, January 30. From there, work was non-stop.
Lunch at 12noon. Dinner service at 6pm. A Midnight meal, then a 2am snack. Breakfast at 6am, then lunch again on the 31st.
All the while providing snacks and additional foods for the drivers.
Foods provided were as followed, keep in mind all our foods are ALWAYS fresh made, all natural organic!
- Lunch: Asian Turkey Burgers, Pickled Asian Cucumbers, and "MM" Potato Salad.
- Dinner: Chicken Piccata with Pasta.
- Midnight Snack: Sausage and Chicken Jamalaya.
- Breakfast: Breakfast Burritos with Fresh Fruit and Pastries.
- Lunch: Grilled Black Angus Steaks with Mediterranean Orzo Salad.
- Misc. Meals/Snacks: Pasta with Red Sauce, as well as Assorted Fresh Fruits.
Although a tiring time, our staff and chef enjoyed the race experience and working with the professional and highly talented staff, drivers, pit-crew, and owner of Starworks Motorsport!
